Claude Puel jokes about Manchester United’s transfer move for Harry Maguire Leicester City manager Claude Puel says defender Harry Maguire is staying amid interest from Manchester United. Since starring for England during the World Cup, Maguire has been subject of intense speculation regarding his future at the King Power Stadium. Reports this week had claimed United were lining up a bid in excess of the world record £75m Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk, in an effort to lure the 25-year-old to Old Trafford. Maguire was said to be keen on the move but Puel says the ex-Hull City centre-back has returned to training ‘with a smile’ and will start the campaign as a Leicester player. ‘I’m confident he’s going to Manchester United, but only for a couple of hours with us,’ Puel told the media ahead of the trip to the Premier League runners-up on Friday. ‘I am happy to keep Harry and all our best players. We lost Riyad [Mahrez], he was valuable for us but was imp...

Kepa making Karius esque mistake going viral on internet! VIDEO!

Kepa making Karius esque mistake going viral on internet!  Chelsea broke the world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper by signing Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao for £71.6m on a seven-year deal. Having activated Kepa's release clause earlier on Wednesday, Chelsea's £71.6m deal surpasses the £67m  Liverpool spent to bring Alisson Becker   to Anfield earlier this summer.                                         Kepa Arrizabalaga horrible mistake against Alaves. Maurizio Sarri on Kepa, ‘I saw him one year ago. My first impression was that he is a very good goalkeeper, very young, but very, very good.’ Well time will tell is he really worth that amount of money.

World's most expensive XI   Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga Chelsea bought Kepa from Athletic Bilbao after triggering his release clause. Transfer: Athletic Bilbao to Chelsea FC Transfer fee:  €   80 million The 23 year-old has played his entire career for Athletic Club, but now sees himself thrust into the spotlight as the most expensive goalkeeper in this history of football. Has been compared to Spanish legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas and has been described as "the goalkeeper of the future". Kepa by contrast, is a great shot-stopper and is also comfortable with the ball at his feet, making him ideal for Maurizio Sarris's more expansive style. At 23 year, he has many years ahead of him too and if he ends of staying for decade, his fee will be just an anecdote. Left-back: Benjamin Mendy    Pep Guardiola bought the World Cup winner from Monaco last season. Transfer: Monaco to Man...
